Normal Mode is activated by tapping the touch sensor on the cap twice (UV is activated for 60 seconds). 

Crazy Mode is activated by tapping the touch sensor on the cap 5 times (UV is activated for 2 minutes).

To activate the self-cleaning feature on your CrazyCap Pro bottle, long press the touch sensor for 3 seconds. The indicator light will blink green upon successful activation. To deactivate, long press the touch sensor for 3 seconds, and the indicator light will blink red.

No. Pro Mode feature is only available in CrazyCap Pro, HydroCap, PureMax 4D.

Triple tap to activate Pro Mode treatment. Pro mode will activate UV-C LED for 3 minutes. During the treatment process, the indicator light will breathe BLUE. Once the treatment is completed, the indicator light will flash GREEN.

Normal Mode treatment activates the UV-C LED for 60 seconds. Pro Mode treatment activates UV-C LED for 3 minutes.

Charging your CrazyCap is very easy. A port-less USB charging cable is included with your CrazyCap. Simply place the charger on top of the cap, and it will fully charge in 4 hours or less.

Tap the touch sensor once. The light ring will illuminate 1 of 3 colors:

Green light indicates >50% battery life.

Orange light indicates 25%-49% battery life.

Red light indicates <25% battery life.

The product (CrazyCap 2/PRO) is expected to last a week on a full charge with 5 Normal Mode  uses daily (up to 7 days). 

A full charge is indicated when the light on the cap turns green after charging, and no charge is indicated when the cap stops responding to the touch and doesn’t show a light color.

There is no ‘on’ or ‘off’ button on the cap. The self-clean mode is automatic and cannot be turned off.

However, this feature can be turned off/on in CrazyCap Pro.

Step 1) Completely empty your bottle of its contents.
Step 2) Attach the CrazyCap to the bottle and activate Crazy Mode twice by tapping the touchpad 5 times (5 taps trigger Crazy Mode).
Step 3) After the two Crazy Mode treatments, the odor should be significantly reduced. If necessary, perform an additional Crazy Mode treatment.

No, CrazyCap doesn’t remove chemicals from water. A traditional charcoal filter is needed to remove chemicals from water. 

Yes, CrazyCap is an IPX7 certified waterproof cap.

We offer 12oz, 17oz, and 25oz bottles.

Yes, CrazyCap is designed to fit the 17oz CrazyCap bottle but it's also compatible with other brands like Swell, Mira, simple modern 17oz cola style bottles. Moreover, it can be used with the 25oz CrazyCap bottle as well.

CrazyCap is designed to fit a range of cola-style bottles including 9oz, 12oz, 17oz, and specifically, the 25oz bottle from CrazyCap brand itself. However, please note that it doesn't fit 25oz bottles from other brands. Additionally, CrazyCap is compatible with the 15oz bottle from S’ip by S’well. The cap measures 34mm in diameter at the bottom, which is the part that seals the bottle neck.

CrazyCap is compatible with the majority of cola-style bottle brands. The most popular brands include MIRA, Simple Modern, Aorin, S’Well, Manna, HoneyHolly, BonBon, LiveLifeLong, Inosu, SunSella, Sportsneer, Chilly's, as well as many others.

CrazyCap is also compatible with S'ip by S'well bottles.

Try changing the gasket, aka the “O” ring, and this should resolve the issue. If you are still experiencing an issue, please reach out to our support team.

The twin/dual pack comes with 2 chargers; one for each unit.

We do not recommend storing the CrazyCap or its corresponding bottle in the refrigerator. These bottles are made of double-walled, vacuum-insulated stainless steel, which ensures your water stays cold for up to 24 hours and hot for up to 12 hours. If you fill the bottle with room temperature water and place it in the fridge, it won't have any effect on the water temperature. This is because the double-wall vacuum insulation prevents the cold air from cooling the water inside.

Please attach the magnetic USB cable to the plug and gently place it on the charging port. The Orange light is an indcation that the Cap is charging.

The battery lasts for 7 days on single charge.

Gently press button on top of cap 2 times to treat your water. This destroys 99.99% of E.coli in 3 minutes from your drinking water.

Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to activate self-cleaning mode. LED flashes blue three times to indicate self-cleaning mode is on and LED flashes green three times to indicate self-cleaning mode is complete. Once self-cleaning is activated, cap will turn-on automatically every hour for a few seconds to keep your bottle odor-free.

Yes, LYT cap will fit the CrazyCap bottle and vice versa.

No, the LYT plastic bottle is not insulated, and therefore, does not keep water cold or maintain the temperature of water.

LYT does not remove particulate matter and/or chemicals (such as fluoride/chlorine) from water.

Yes, LYT is an IPX7 certified waterproof cap.

The life of the PURIST, ARTESIAN and ALKALINE filter is 30 days at 64 oz per day water consumption.

Yes, tilting is required as water has to pass through the filter using gravity and a little bit of suction force.

1) PURIST Filter: coconut charcoal and Ion-exchange resin.

2) ARTESIAN Filter: PURIST+ Calcium and magnesium minerals

3) ALKALINE Filter: PURIST + enhances pH of the water to 9.5.

We have seen that a small percentage of the PureMax bottles are leaking from the side. Please contact customer service at Hello@waatr.com, they will be ale to arrange the Bottle only replacements. Which will be able to solve the leakage issues.

To charge, place the magnetic charger on top of the cap over the charging pins and connect the USB plug to a wall adapter. Full charge takes 3-4 hours.

Press two times or double press to activate the Normal Mode water treatment. Ideal for regular tap water. Normal Mode will turn ON the UVC LED for 60 seconds to treat your water. During the purification process, the indicator light will be breathing BLUE. Once the treatment is completed, the indicator light will glow GREEN for 1.6 seconds.

To activate the self-cleaning feature, LONG PRESS the activating button for 3 seconds: the indicator light will blink GREEN upon successful activation. To deactivate this feature, Long PRESS the activation button once again for 3 seconds: the indicator light will blink RED upon successful deactivation. Once self-cleaning mode is turning ON, Hydrocap will automatically activate once every hour for 15 seconds to keep the bottle odor-free. While self-cleaning is in -progress, the indicator light will be breathing BLUE.

Triple press to activate Pro Mode water treatment. Pro mode will activate UV-C LED for 3 minutes. During this treatment, the indicator light will be breathing BLUE. Once the treatment is completed, the indicator light will glow GREEN for 1.6 seconds.

When using it for the first time, we recommend washing your bottle with soap water. After that, the deep UV-C light activates in self-clean mode automatically, shining in the interior surface of the bottle to keep it odor-free.

The life of the UV light (UV-C LED) is 10 years, or 500,000 treatments. The user cannot replace the light themselves.
